 Community Church is a contemporary, nondenominational,
Bible-based church.  Whether you are seeking God or sold-out

Please Join Us!

Our annual Baptism service will be held on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 6pm.  This service will be in lieu of our regular Sunday morning services.  (We won't be at the ACH on Sunday morning!) 

Service will be held at the home of Eddie & Susan Lothride, 23611 NC Hwy 8, Denton, NC.  To get to their home, travel south on Hwy 8 approximately 18.5 miles past the intersection of the ACH where we normally meet.  Their driveway is on the left and signs will be posted.

Please bring your own chairs, blankets or towels to sit on.  In addition, if you have an outdoor shade source (canopy, open tent, etc.), you are welcome to set them up as well.

If you plan to be baptized and would like to change into dry clothes afterwards, a changing area will be provided. 

This service is always such a special time for Community!  Please plan to attend and bring friends and family members to share in the celebration!  Photos from last year's baptism can be accessed by  selecting the Baptism sub album within the Community Church photo album.

Community Church meets in the Sam Vance Auditorium of the American Children's Home in Lexington.  The Children's Home is located at 3844 NC Hwy 8.  From Interstate 85 (exit #91), take Hwy 8 South approximately 1.5 miles.  Turn right at the stop light (Junior Order Home Rd.) and take the first driveway on your right.  You may also enter off of Hwy 8, however, the entance off Junior Order Home Rd. provides the most direct access to our parking areas.
